College of Communication Wins First Place in the International Media and Digital Transformation Competition

The organizing committee of the International Media and Digital Transformation Competition has announced that the College of Communication at the University of Fujairah secured a shared first place in the category of Best Public Relations Projects and Campaigns. The college achieved this prestigious recognition after fierce competition with numerous universities from 18 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Prof. Ghassan Al-Qaimari, Chancellor of the University of Fujairah, and Prof. Mohamed AlShami, Vice Chancellor, expressed their pride and joy at this significant achievement. They emphasized that this success reflects the quality of the university’s academic programs and the College of Communication’s ability to prepare students for competition and excellence on the international stage. This came during their meeting with the winning team from the College of Communication, which included students Zulaikha Wali and Halima Wali. Dr. Abudo Dawood, the supervisor of the campaign, Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamel, the supervisor and Dean of the College, Dr. Maha Abdelaziz, the Graduation Projects Coordinator, Dr. Robin Kabha, and Prof. Mohamed Fayyad.
Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamel, Dean of the College of Communication, highlighted that winning first place is a testament to the high standards of education and academic excellence at the University of Fujairah, not just at the local level but also internationally. He praised the students’ creativity and excellence, as well as their commitment to serving the local community through impactful campaigns.
In announcing the competition results, Professor Dr. Abdeljawad Abou Kabb, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Media and Digital Transformation Foundation, remarked that the submitted projects reflect significant advancements in the participating academic institutions from around the world. He noted their capacity to keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of media and education.
