Dr. Jobby George is a distinguished physiotherapist, educator, researcher, and administrator with a PhD in Physiotherapy from Yenepoya University, where his research explored the comparative effectiveness of aerobic and resistance training in young adults with Major Depressive Disorder. He holds both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physiotherapy, specializing in Adult Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders, from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. With a rich blend of academic and clinical experience, Dr. George has served in teaching and senior consulting roles at leading healthcare institutions across India and the Middle East, including as Assistant Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, National Guard Health Affairs, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. George received an invitation for a postdoctoral fellowship at Lund University, Sweden, in collaboration with the WHO Center for Evidence-Based Clinical Health Promotion. He has also been invited to join the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Research Group at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Dr. George’s credentials have been officially evaluated as equivalent to Danish and Canadian standards. His teaching and research expertise include anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, mental health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and community-based rehabilitation. Passionate about exploring the intersections of neuroethology, consciousness, and depression, he actively contributes to global scientific dialogue as a peer reviewer and conference presenter.
