Assistant Professor
Dr. Maha Abdalaziz, Assistant Professor – Department of Mass Communication, University of Fujairah, received her PhD in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences in 2012 and was promoted to Associate Professor in the same field in 2021, has over 12 years of academic experience in the field of communication sciences, with a particular focus on public relations and advertising. Throughout her career, she has worked at several universities in the United Arab Emirates. She has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Program Coordinator for the Public Relations and Mass Communication Program, Acting Dean, and Quality Assurance Program Officer. She has significantly contributed to enhancing academic and institutional performance by participating in program reviews, annual operational planning, internal audit follow-up, and aligning her work with the UAE Ministry of Higher Education standards. As an active researcher and experienced lecturer, she has published numerous research papers and academic studies in the fields of media, communication, and public relations. Also a regular journalistic contributor, writing periodic articles for various newspapers and magazines in the United Arab Emirates, most notably the Fujairah Culture and Media Magazine. In addition to her academic work, she also plays a vital role in community outreach through public lectures and awareness seminars at institutions and centers across the country.
