Fujairah Crown Prince Attends Graduation of 244 Students in the “Community Year Class” at Fujairah University

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the graduation ceremony of 244 male and female students from Fujairah University, under the banner of the “Community Year Class.” The ceremony took place at the Fujairah Creative Centre Theatre, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
His Highness emphasized the pivotal role educational institutions play in building human capital and equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills that contribute to the continued progress and development of Fujairah.
He also highlighted the close attention given by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to advancing the education sector in the emirate, ensuring it aligns with the competitiveness standards and the strategic vision of the UAE for higher education.
In his address during the ceremony, Dr. Suleiman Al Jassim, Director of Fujairah University, affirmed the university’s ambitious and forward-looking vision. He outlined plans for launching new and advanced academic programs aligned with national priorities, particularly in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, the digital economy, health sciences, and social sciences. He also noted the university’s efforts to attract international students to enrich cultural diversity, expand academic openness, and enhance partnerships with both public and private sectors.
Additionally, he emphasized the university’s investment in scientific research and innovation, its encouragement of student entrepreneurship, and its commitment to strengthening international student and faculty exchange programs with renowned global universities to enrich the educational experience and foster genuine knowledge exchange.
His Highness the Crown Prince extended his congratulations to the graduates across all disciplines, wishing them success in their future endeavors. He encouraged them to continue their journey of learning and knowledge, and to actively contribute to the nation’s development.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Dr. Suleiman Al Jassim, members of the University’s Board of Trustees, faculty members, and the proud families of the graduating students.
