Mohammed Al Sharqi Meets with President of University of Fujairah and Reviews Its Strategic Plan and Academic Programs

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Fujairah, met with Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, President of the University, at his office in the Amiri Diwan.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the university’s new strategic plan (2025–2030) and its latest academic programs.
He affirmed Fujairah’s commitment to enhancing the education system and its quality in pursuit of academic excellence. He also highlighted the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to align with the emirate’s aspirations for economic and knowledge-based growth and to meet the labor market’s needs through high-level academic standards, competencies, and outcomes.
His Highness emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships that support the university’s goals and prepare students through sustainable collaborations with public and private institutions across the emirate. He also stressed the development of infrastructure to provide a modern and motivating educational environment that enhances the quality and outcomes of the learning process.
The meeting included a presentation of the university’s plan, which is based on a modern governance model and active partnerships. It aims to elevate the quality of education and scientific research, empower students, and prepare cadres according to national and international standards.
His Highness also reviewed the plan’s key pillars, which include launching innovative and advanced academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, introducing a new marketing strategy to attract international students to promote cultural diversity and academic openness, strengthening partnerships with both the public and private sectors to ensure that educational outcomes align with evolving labor market demands, and investing in research and innovation.
The university team expressed their gratitude to the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his continuous support for the university and its development needs, which enhance its position among the country’s higher education institutions.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
