Students from the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Fujairah participate with the Fujairah Charity Association in preparing meals for the Iftar Break initiative.

As part of promoting a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility, and in alignment with the Year of the Community, students from the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Fujairah University participated in organizing and preparing Iftar meals as part of the "Iftar Breaking" initiative, held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, and organized by the Fujairah Charity Association.

The students took part in preparing and arranging the meals in the pre-distribution stage, aiming to provide them to fasting individuals during the holy month of Ramadan, under the supervision of Dr. Asma Ahmed and Dr. Ramadan Ismail.

This participation reflects the department's commitment to engaging students in volunteer activities that promote values of solidarity and cooperation, foster a spirit of giving and social initiative, and align with the objectives of "the Year of the Community," which seeks to strengthen the culture of participation and social responsibility across various fields.
