University of Fujairah Shines at UAE Hackathon 2025

UOF achieved outstanding success at the UAE Hackathon 2025, a prestigious national innovation competition organized by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).

In the Pioneers Track, Team “The Hope” from UOF secured fourth place among teams from across the UAE. The team included the students:

• Sherifa Alhammadi
• Kholoud Almehrzi
  Both are students in the College of Arts and Humanities, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Their achievement underscores the university’s dedication to nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a spirit of innovation among its students.

In the Entrepreneurs Track, Dr. Srinivasan Ramamurthy, from the College of Dentistry and Health Sciences at UOF, secured the third place (Team name: Eco-Smart AI ).

honored for its outstanding participation and excellent organization of the Fujairah Hackathon, reflecting its pivotal role in advancing the hackathon’s mission and contributing to the UAE’s vision for digital transformation and community engagement; and the honorary shield was received by Dr. Hussein Abulkasim from University of Fujairah.
