Orientation Session for New Students at the College of Communication

The College of Communication at the University of Fujairah organized a welcome and orientation session for new students joining the college for the academic year 2024-2025, alongside a number of the current students. The session aimed to provide academic guidance and direct students toward making the most of their academic journey. It also included an introduction to university regulations, examination systems, and academic advising, in addition to addressing students’ questions and suggestions.

The session was opened by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamel, with a welcoming speech in which he conveyed the greetings of the university higher managment. During his address, he covered several key topics, including the concept of university life, the academic curriculum, and the importance of the academic and extracurricular activities offered by the college to support students both personally and professionally.

Dr. Robbin Kabha, also delivered advice and guidance to students on how to succeed in university life, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and active participation in student activities.

In the second part of the session, a discussion was opened, allowing new students to ask questions and share their suggestions. The students actively engaged with the topics discussed, contributing to enriching the dialogue and enhancing communication between the students and faculty members.
