Team from the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & port Security Visits the University of Fujairah to Initiate Joint Research Projects

As part of the implementation of the MOU signed between UOF and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & port Security, a team from the Federal Authority visited the University. The team was headed by Major Ahmed Saeed Al-Yamahi, with the presence of Lieutenant Rashid Khamees Al-Marshoudi, First Lieutenant Ali Khalfan Al-Kindi, and civilian Mariam Khalfan Al-Khuzaimi.

During the visit, the team met with Prof. Ghassan Al-Qaimari, the Chancellor, and Prof. Mohammed Al-Shami, Vice-Chancellor, to discuss ways to implement the signed agreement and work on joint research projects aimed at improving the services provided by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. Several key areas of collaboration were discussed, including the exchange of research expertise, development of service infrastructure, enhancement of service delivery channels, and increasing capacity to meet the needs of clients.

For his part, Prof. Ghassan Al-Qaimari praised the significance of this collaboration and emphasized the university’s role in providing scientific support through experts and researchers in various relevant fields. He noted that the joint research will contribute to enhancing the Directorate’s ability to offer innovative and advanced services, as well as more effective classification of clients. He also mentioned that this visit is a crucial step towards activating cooperation between the two parties and reflects their commitment to implementing the terms of the signed agreement in various fields, serving the community, and strengthening institutional relations.
