Prof. Sameh Ghwanmeh, the director of the University of Fujairah, met with Mr. Freid Majri, the director of the Goethe Institute for the Gulf region. The discussion was held to explore ways of collaboration between the two parties, especially in the field of teaching the German language, given the increasing demand for learning German among students and members of the community.
Prof. Ghwanmeh confirmed the university’s desire to strengthen relations with the Goethe Institute and expand cooperation in the field of public relations studies and the German language. The collaboration with the institute includes conducting German language proficiency tests, providing training courses, hosting German experts in public relations, and creating training opportunities in German institutions for students of the University of Fujairah.
Mr. Freid praised the distinguished scientific reputation of the University of Fujairah and expressed the institute’s keenness to enhance cooperation between the University of Fujairah and the Goethe Institute. He also expressed his desire to move forward with the cooperation agreement and strengthen relations between the two parties.
