University of Fujairah Celebrates the Graduation of the First Cohort of Strategic Planning and Government Performance Diploma

The University of Fujairah, represented by the Center for Continuing Education and Consultancy, recently celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of the Strategic Planning and Government Performance Diploma, organized in collaboration with the Fujairah Government Excellence Program. The program saw the participation of 18 professionals from over ten government entities in the Emirate of Fujairah.

The diploma program included a series of lectures and workshops aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in strategic planning and institutional performance improvement. The training focused on empowering participants to develop and implement strategic plans within government institutions. Delivered by a distinguished group of experts in strategic planning and performance management, the program provided valuable learning opportunities and practical applications for the participants. At the conclusion of the program, graduates presented practical projects centered on applying the skills acquired to develop strategic plans tailored to their respective institutions’ needs.

Prof. Ghassan Al-Qaimari, the Chancellor, expressed his pride in the graduates’ efforts, highlighting the significance of the program in supporting them to achieve excellence in government work. He commended the graduation projects, which reflected the participants’ deep understanding of the topics covered.

In addition, Prof. Mohamed AlShami, Vice-Chancellor, encouraged participants to leverage the skills acquired during the diploma, reaffirming the university’s commitment to providing advanced training programs to support the development of government performance.

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Kaabi, Director of the Fujairah Government Excellence Program, emphasized the importance of the diploma, which was designed according to the Strategic Planning Guide of the Emirate of Fujairah. He also expressed interest in participants’ feedback to ensure improvements and enhancements for future cohorts.

This diploma aligns with the university’s efforts to promote efficiency and excellence in government work, contributing to the UAE’s vision for advancing the government sector and improving the quality of services provided.
