Job Description

  
Responsibilities and Duties:

  1.  IT infrastructure design, implementation and management (Server, wired/wireless network)
  2.  Disaster Recovery site, backup implementation with Fujairah E government data center for critical server roles.
  3.  Manage and administer e-mail platform(G-suit).
  4.  Revamping server room to the industry standards in a most possible way.
  5.  Firewall management and administration for main campus and extended campuses.
  6.  Managing and administration of the servers in the data center.
  7.  Managing and administration of the centralized and stand alone printers.
  8.  Managing and administration of the biometrics attendance system and ID cards for staff’s and students.
  9.  Establishing and managing Virtual Private Network with Fujairah E government data center for server backup.
  10.  Establishing and managing Virtual Private Network with extended campus of Nursing and college of IT
  11.  Manage and administer Video conferencing platforms like Zoom/Google Meet/ Teams and their hardware’s.
  12.  IP PBX management and administration.
  13.  Configuring and managing remote IP PBX extensions for extended campus for college of Nursing /IT
  14.  Plan, implement, administer ERP and other applications.
  15.  Guiding and assessing students from other universities to acquire working experience.
  16.  Manage resource utilization in terms of manpower and IT.
  17.  Providing technical support and training for the IT personnel and staffs
  18.  Prepare yearly budget for IT
  19.  Prepare yearly action plan for IT

 Requirements and Experience:

A Minimum Bachelor Degree of Computer Application or related Major.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  3.  Analysis and reporting skills
  4.  Ability to manage resources effectively
