Educational Visit for College of Communication Students to the Largest Printing and Publishing Company in the Middle East and Africa

The College of Communication team at the University of Fujairah organized an educational visit to Masar, a subsidiary of Dubai Media Incorporated, which is one of the leading companies in the field of printing and publishing regionally and globally. Masar has the most advanced printing presses in the Middle East and Africa.

The delegation conveyed the greetings of Prof. Sameh Ghwanmeh, The University Chancellor, and Dr. Mohammed Malik, Dean of the College of Communication, to the company’s management, and congratulating them on their achievement, as they ranked first regionally and second globally in applying the highest international quality standards from the International Ever Organization.

UOF team included Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Kamel from the College of Communication and several students from the Media Production course. The students listened to explanations from Masar experts about the steps and production of various media materials such as newspapers, magazines, books, and brochures. They also observed the stages of production and printing of the Noble Quran at the Mohammed bin Rashid Quran Printing Center.

Dr. Ahmed Mustafa added that the visit was a practical lecture that achieved the outputs of the Media Production course and the objectives of the Communication program. The lecture and interaction with experts focused on technology and modern trends in designing and producing various media materials. This practical visit is part of the “Experiences” project aimed at enhancing the practical experience of students in the College of Communication at the university, initiated by student Mariam Mohammed Al Balushi under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Mustafa.
