“Helping Hand” Campaign Succeeds in Collecting Dozens of Humanitarian Aid Crates for Deserving Individuals

In line with its commitment and desire to support the community, the University of Fujairah organized the “Helping Hand” campaign in collaboration with the Volunteer Aid Team and the Fujairah Charity Association, with the participation of students from the College of Communication, and with the support of several institutions, including Fujairah Television.

The campaign aims to collect new and used clothes to be directed to the Fujairah Charity Association, which will distribute them to those in need according to its database. University leaders met with the participating student team, where they reviewed the most important activities of the campaign and the efforts made by the students in collecting more than 65 boxes of clothes. The campaign also attracted many young people eager to contribute to volunteer activities and serve the community through the Fujairah Charity Association and the Student Affairs Administration at the university.

Prof. Ghassan Al-Qaimari, the Chancellor, expressed his great happiness at the success of the campaign and affirmed the university’s role in fulfilling its social responsibility. Prof. Mohammed Fayadh praised the importance of the initiative, emphasizing the commitment and positive interaction of the students. Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Kamel, Faculty in the College and supervisor of the campaign, explained that the success of this campaign is attributed to the collaboration of multiple entities to achieve the desired goal, emphasizing the importance of students acquiring skills in designing and implementing awareness campaigns and volunteering efforts.
