Qualifications and Core Competencies
A Ph.D. in Business Administration or a related field obtained from a globally recognized higher education institution is an absolute requirement for all applicants.
Demonstrate exceptional proficiency and practical implementation of the principles of curriculum development, teaching, learning, and assessment concepts in accordance with the relevant level of the national qualification framework, ensuring program effectiveness.
Demonstrate a mastery in student advising, supervising students’ internships, and research capstone projects.
Exhibit sole research publications in top peer-reviewed journals, such as SCOPUS and similar publications, to include collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
Exhibit excellent professional community engagement/service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and systematically evaluate the delivery of graduate and undergraduate business administration courses, ensuring alignment with the principles of teaching and learning and the national qualification framework.
Integrate advanced learning management systems and relevant technology-based learning resources to enhance the assurance of learning across all courses.
Provide exceptional academic advising services to students, offering guidance tailored to individual educational and professional growth.
Offer outstanding supervision and support to students in the internship program, facilitating real-world experience and professional development.
Provide rigorous supervision and insightful guidance to students undertaking research capstone projects, ensuring high-quality research outcomes and practical applications.
Contribute original research regularly to top peer-reviewed journals such as SCOPUS, including collaborative and interdisciplinary studies that align with the business administration program's strategic research initiatives.
Coordinate with the dean and vice-chancellor, lead and develop community engagement programs, forge partnerships with industry leaders that resonate with the business administration program's concentrations, and enhance community interaction.
Actively promote university programs that enhance the visibility and reputation of the UOF, aligning with strategic marketing and outreach efforts.
Perform additional tasks as the relevant authority assigns, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the university's mission and goals.
